We are a Bible believing and teaching Christian church. A place where Faith, Forgiveness and Fellowship are found. We believe that Christianity is not a spectator sport, in otherwards we must live out our faith together. Doctrinally we are a Pentecostal church that has been in its current location since the 1930’s. Feel free to check out Church History page for more on that.
We have small groups that meet at various times throughout the week. topics vary ask someone what groups are currently open and we will get you plugged into one.
Our Sunday morning service is a blend of worship styles. The Bible is taught in a way that it can be understood and applied to our daily lives. we offer children’s church for the little ones as well.
As our names indicates Altar time is something we value here. Generally, there will be an opportunity to pray in every service as well as an opportunity to be prayed for.
Attire is come as you are most comfortable. you may see suit and ties or dockers slacks or jeans. We are happy you are here.
We are a small but growing congregation. Doing our best to fulfill the great commission and reflecting Christ to those around us.

Lead Pastor
Shane Williams
Shane is the Lead Pastor at The Altar Church. With a passion for leading people to a deeper walk with God. Wherever they may be. He is married to Amanda, a schoolteacher, They have 6 Children and 4 soon to be 5 Grandchildren. He has attended Northwest University, Gordon Conwell Seminary, and Berean School of the Bible. He has been in Ministry since 1990. Enjoys Fishing and reading.
Youth Pastor
We currently looking for a Youth Pastor at The Altar Church.
AV Leader
Shane Kirby
Shane Kirby is the AV Leader at The Altar Church. He uses his talents to run equipment for the church as well as leading small groups.
